* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.
* WHERE...Portions of east Tennessee, including the following counties, Carter, Johnson, Sullivan, Unicoi and Washington and southwest Virginia, including the following counties and independent city, City of Bristol, Scott and Washington.
* IMPACTS...Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring. It will take several hours for all the water from these storms to work through local drainage systems in urban areas.
Please use caution today if you have to travel in the TRI metro, especially low-lying areas. Be safe and always Turn Around, Don’t Drown. Still plenty of moisture coming up from our southwest ahead of a frontal boundary.
