Why the shades emoji?? Well later this week it will be super sunny, but very-VERY C🥶LD as lows dip into the lower teens and highs near or below freezing, even in the TRI-Cities!

First things first, another Arctic blast moves in later today with some ‘festive flakes’ /flurries mainly around the TRI with light SN❄️W across the mountains. Wind chills will fall below zero across the mountains at times Tuesday through Thursday morning. Single digits at times locally in the BRRR—TRI.

This weekend will feel like a heat wave Thursday afternoon through Saturday. Highs back near 50° Saturday with rain developing late Friday through Saturday. Perhaps changing to SN❄️W Dolly’s Birthday this Sunday… Next Week looks like the most extreme cold blast we’ve experienced in a very long time… perhaps rivaling that of the mid 1980s. MILLIONS of folks across the Plains, Midwest and South will experience temps 30°+ BELOW Average.
