🌂Many of us got down to double nickels this morning with lower humidity the temp this afternoon will only top out in the upper 70s to lower 80s. A dry night on the way as the Appalachian Fair welcomes Crowder Music to the main stage. Enjoy rain-free conditions through early Wednesday afternoon. A few pop-up T-storms are possible late Wednesday into Wednesday evening, but mainly across the higher terrain. Thursday the coverage becomes more scattered in nature. Keeping a close eye on Thursday night for the almost total lunar eclipse. Hopefully, the cloud cover will clear out for us to enjoy it after 9pm with maximum eclipse expected around midnight into early Friday morning.

🌞After 9 wet weekends in a row (since the official start of summer), we COULD beat that wet trend this weekend and dry out and warm up with highs nearing 90° with mostly dry conditions expected. A few mainly mountainous showers could develop during the heating of the day, but right now the coverage Friday — Sunday is looking less than 30%.
