š§After some morning freezing fog and black ice, your Sunday will live up to its name as Iām expecting an abundance of sunshine! That sunshine will make it feel like a heat wave has highs climb several degrees ABOVE freezing. ((Hey, weāll take what we can get!))
The puddles and water on roadways from snow melt will refreeze tonight into your Monday morning. Use extra caution on sidewalks, driveways, secondary roads, bridges and overpasses as there will likely be slick spots.
āļøLight SNāļøW and another Arctic blast expectedĀ for the majority of your work week! Clouds roll back on Monday, some SNāļøW shower activity and especially upslope to our western facing sides and slopes cannot be ruled out. The activity will be light in nature, but could cause slick spots late Monday into early Tuesday. As the Arctic air grips our area, that westerly flow could create additional light SNāļøW shower activity and perhaps a few squalls, especially late in the day into early Wednesday.
š„¶The big story this week will be the FRIGID air!
Highs will be stuck in the 20s Tuesday and Wednesday and near freezing Thursday.
Next Friday into Saturday highs will rebound (briefly) into the middle 40s, or closer to normal. Followed by another big drop off in temps next Sunday and beyond⦠Iāll keep you and yours ahead of all the changes that are ahead!
