🌨️NWS STATEMENT:🌨️

⚠️A Winter Storm Watch has been issued for portions of East Tennessee and southwest Virginia. Heavy SN❄️W is possible from Friday afternoon through late Saturday night, with accumulations between 3 and 7 inches, locally more is possible especially along the TN. N.C border. Winds may gust to 35 mph causing white out conditions at times.

⚠️Travel will likely become very difficult, especially during the Friday evening commute into Saturday.

Plan accordingly and allow extra time for your travels.

🚨SN❄️W STORM EXPECTED: This is a different view of the Hazardous map because of the area this storm is going to impact. This “Winter Storm Watch” expands across all of NE TN, SW VA, the entire state of N.C. (combined with Cold WX Advisory), most of S.C. (Including Myrtle Beach) and eastern GA.
