J☀️E’s 4-Day EMOJI 4-Cast features: 😎
Let’s kick off the work week with more sunshine and warmer weather! Highs ABOVE Average the next few days, so a nice thaw to get the work week started.
For the first time since January 9th we will top out in the 60s on Tuesday, maybe even near 70° around Knoxville! Now that’s a nice break from the “festive flakes we’ve seen consistently for the past week.
Clouds increase Tuesday with rain developing area wide Tuesday night into Wednesday morning. This should wash/melt most of the rest of our SN❄️W from last weekend away. Thursday will still be seasonably mild albeit a bit cooler with lots of sunshine.
Beyond the 4 Day… For the 4th weekend in a row, a major storm system will impact our neck of the woods; this time as mostly a (cold) rain-maker. Low pressure will track from the southern plains across the TN Valley. It could begin Friday as a wintry mix to rain. Meanwhile, the mixing or frozen precip. could last into the weekend across the Blue Ridge — something we’ll have to watch closely if you’re heading across the mountain into western N.C.
Beyond Valentine’s weekend, we are looking at the potential of several more storm systems in a very active pattern to impact us mid to late month.
