Joe’s 4-Day EMOJI 4-Cast features: 💧🥶➡️🥵☀️

💧After some morning drizzle, the cold front has slid south of the TRI into the Carolina’s for your Monday and certainly bringing us back to reality, after our record shattering high Sunday at 83°, some even had heat index values nearing 90°; Summer-like for the first weekend of Spring. The clouds will hang tough into your Monday afternoon, a spotty shower, mainly in the mountains and into SW VA. Highs falling from the earlier 70s and 60s and will be falling through the 50s Monday afternoon. Northerly winds will make it feel even cooler!

🥶It would be a good idea to cover early blooms tonight as lows tumble near or slightly below freezing. The only thing that will protect us from a widespread frost/freeze will be the northerly breeze and cloudy skies.

☀️Grab the shades and enjoy seasonably mild weather Tuesday and Wednesday afternoons as highs return into the 60s. A spotty shower can’t be ruled out Thursday as highs top out in the mid to upper 70s, followed by you guessed it ANOTHER cold front set to arrive late Friday with more area wide rain/storms. A widespread frost / freeze is looking likely Saturday night into Palm Sunday with lows in the upper 20s to lower 30s. We’ll warm up Palm Sunday afternoon into the 60s again. This roller coaster ride looks to continue into April. At least this weekend is expected to be on the dry-side again!
