⚠️High Heat Alert TRI-Cities — Get ready for highs to soar near 90° Monday afternoon, but heat index values could make it feel like closer to 100°.

—Heat Advisory is in effect through Tuesday from Knox to Chatt. and including most of the TN Valley. Heat indices in these areas could make it feel like 108° or locally hotter!

The peak of the heat arrives midweek ahead of a welcomed cold front. That will bring an uptick in our shower and T-storm chances Thursday and Friday.

Lower humidity levels as we turn the calendar to August. Highs MUCH cooler in time for the Reds/Braves game at Bristol Baby Saturday evening.

Average High in the TRI: 86° and Average Low: 65°.
