⚠️FRIDAY — SATURDAY WINTER STORM UPDATE:
⚠️FRIDAY — SATURDAY WINTER STORM UPDATE:

In nearly every post regarding our late week Winter Storm, I’ve been saying the SN❄️W would win over for the most part. Still tracking the possibility for some minor downsloping for a short time and that’s where mixing could occur, or even a lighter lull in the action for a short time, especially areas east of I-81. Today’s model run has a better handle on those well advertised heavy SN❄️W bands making their way into east TN.

Light SN❄️W could begin as early as mid-morning, will intensify throughout the afternoon. Some moderate bursts of snowfall expected especially along the I-81 corridor and could produce a half foot or locally more for some. Those that see mixing will see slightly lesser amounts. Still thinking this is mostly a SN❄️W storm for our area, with minor mixing.
